Happy New Year

Happy New Year!

+ Passion 2021—we freaking did it!!

Can I just say, wow.
Only God could, would.

To be honest, the hardest part of 2020 for me was the initial shock. Not even did the death of my grandma agonize me like being so out of control. Slowly, my life went back to normal with masks on. New things came and went. Hard things were endured and so much joy created.

A final wrap up for you. Some highlights of an odd year that wasn’t wasted.

•my grandma died
•I got a birthday this year!
•new relationship
•moved out on my own
•church opened...and then closed
•beach trips and El Paso 🥰
•church, church, church
•lots of leading
•end of a refining relationship
•family stuff, cause duh
•hang outs and good food and good beer
#passion2021

Our God is the god of both.
Do you see? The good outweighing the bad? The bad being the worst, but the good being immeasurable?

I learned to love well this year. I learned to serve honestly this year. I learned to stand up for myself in action not only in word.

I saw the body of Christ rise up, each part exercising its purpose for the sake of sharing the good news. I saw the worth of “the one”. Love challenged and comforted.

I hate the evil a pandemic has caused. I hate death just like I’m supposed to, but I am so grateful for every moment of 2020.

I trust that God isn’t evil, and I equally trust he is jealous for me. I was stripped of my everything, and I’m glad all that was left was Him.

Such good news.
